The Greenhouse Café is the quintessential wedding venue – a fusion between natural light and simple eco-elegance. Each space was thoughtfully envisioned and crafted to ensure that guests are delighted at every turn. The contrast between unique architecture and the natural surrounds make for spectacularly framed views.

Celebrate your union surrounded by up to 160 guests. Create lingering memories – your family and friends will have access to any of the various activities and experiences Rosemary Hill Farm has to offer.

There are a number of qualities about a Greenhouse Café wedding that have contributed to our reputation as one of the premier wedding venues in Gauteng:

• Situated on a working farm, our facilities are authentic and each wedding is truly unique.
We do not host back-to-back weddings, therefore you will have access to the reception venue the day before to start set-up.
• Complimentary Bridal Room available from 7am for the bride and her entourage to get ready in.
• Complimentary Groom’s Room available from 9am for the Groom and his men to get ready in.
• We include a Stunning Honeymoon Suite for the night of the wedding.
• You have a 200 – hectare playground at your disposal for taking the most beautiful photos & video.
• Professional DJ service included for your ceremony & reception.
• The Estate boasts accommodation for up to 120 guests and a communal swimming pool.
• Room amenities are natural, made from herbs grown on the farm & essential oils extracted in the Distillery.
• Seasonal Vegetables, Fruit, Herbs & Pecan nuts used in the preparation of your wedding food are organically & bio-dynamically grown right here on the farm.

THE CHAPEL

Perched on a hill, this open-air chapel blends artful steelwork with the raw beauty of nature, offering unparalleled vistas of the lush farm. The perfect setting to express your love amidst the rustling leaves of surrounding forests, creating an ambiance of romance and extraordinary beauty.

THE DECK AND BOMA

As the sun dips below the horizon, treat your guests to a breathtaking sundowner and canapé reception on The Deck, surrounded by beautiful lawns and trees. Guests can meander through the manicured gardens, where every step reveals a new picturesque scene.

 

THE CONSERVATORY

Our pièce de résistance, the Conservatory is an architectural marvel inspired by the beauty and function of greenhouses. This airy space is flooded with natural diffused light from the translucent southern roof, while the solid northern roof offers  protection from the summer sun. Vertical gardens and hanging plants breathe life into the space, complemented by custom designed wooden tables and ghost chairs. At night, the soft glow of 90 low-hanging lightbulbs sets a romantic tone for an unforgettable celebration.

 

BUSH VINE BAR & WINE CO

With a wide selection of wines and on-trend beverages, the dedicated team will ensure your guests are well catered for throughout the evening. Don’t miss the “Late Bloomer” label, their in-house signature range of boutique wines.

 THE STONE COTTAGE

This once quaint cottage has been transformed into a contemporary double-storey luxury suite of amazing proportions, creating a beautiful space where the bridal party prepares for the wedding. It is located 250m from the Conservatory and is surrounded by nature as well as old ruins – a visual playground. The photo opportunities are endless! The suite is furnished with a king-sized bed and the has two full bathrooms, upstairs is a grey stone free-standing bath and downstairs a double-volume shower, kitchenette and living room which leads onto a Patio surrounded by a lush forest. Guests can relax in the spacious lounge and make use of a well-appointed kitchenette. The outside patio is surrounded by beautiful trees and abundant bird life.

Bathroom amenities are included as well as a special turning down service ensuring that a softly lit ambience will await you upon your return to the room after your wedding.

The cottage has a cosy fireplace for Winter and Aircon for Summer.

The Stone Cottage is complimentary for two nights (for a weekend and/ or public holiday wedding) and one night (for a midweek wedding).

THE ZENKAYA

The ZenKaya has been lauded for its green modular design, integrating nature into the guests’ every move. This iconic structure with its floor-to-ceiling glass panels, 270° porch and outside hot tub is always an enjoyable experience. It has a small kitchenette, bathroom with shower and a King size bed. Most of the ZenKaya is fitted by the award winning RAW Studio furniture design company. The Zenkaya is the perfect space for the Groom and his men to get ready in and is available from 07h00 on the day of the wedding (Complimentary for Weekend Weddings).

 

OTHER ACCOMMODATION

In addition to the above we can accommodate over 140 guests on the farm. With an emphasis on stylish simplicity, the guest accommodation is authentic and rural; yet contemporary in character. With privileged access to the farm, guests staying over will be able to savour the best of farm living. Join a tour or explore the estate on foot, following trails that take you through rosemary fields, grasslands and forests. There are mountain biking routes for cycling or hiking, horse outrides, beautiful gardens to explore, swimming at the pool and plenty of opportunities to sit, read, relax and generally take in the goodness of life.
